Humboldt Creamery Association is an integrated processor of dairy products, including fluid milk, powdered milk, private label ice cream and frozen novelties. A 75-year-old cooperative, Humboldt sells nationwide to major retailers and food manufacturers., As part of a major expansion strategy, the company acquired the ice cream and frozen novelty division of WestFarm Foods as well as the operations of Arctic Ice Cream . The acquisitions were funded under new bank credit facilities in combination with a new equity investment from a strategic partner.
